Our Team
This website was created by a dedicated team of web development students as our final project. We combined our diverse skills and shared passion for travel to create an immersive digital experience showcasing the beauty and diversity of Istanbul. Each team member brought unique expertise to the project, resulting in a comprehensive guide to this fascinating city.
Berkay Yalmaz
Full Stack DeveloperI assisted in the frontend and backend development of our website. For the user interface, I employed HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure it was responsive and structured appropriately. In backend development, my primary focus was on Java, where I implemented logic for dynamic content, data processing, and fluid transitions between pages. I helped my team members with some technical issues beyond my primary scope. All of these integrations helped in the creation of a responsive, dynamic, and fully integrated website that was usable across multiple platforms and devices.
Furkan
Content Strategist & DesignerMy contributions included Java, HTML, and CSS for the project. Making the project more engaging and multifaceted was my chief objective. I also worked on integrating captions in addition to the photographs used to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the site. In addition to new topics, I worked on the design enhancements for the website's aesthetic appeal too.

Backend DeveloperI played a pivotal role in developing the backend functionalities of the Istanbul website. I was responsible for integrating the contact form using Formspree, ensuring that user messages are efficiently captured and delivered. I also meticulously structured the HTML to maintain semantic integrity and responsiveness across devices. My collaboration with the frontend team ensured a seamless user experience, and my attention to detail in the HTML layout contributed to the website's overall functionality and accessibility.
Eyupdzhan Dinsever
Frontend & BackendI worked on the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript parts of this project. I helped design the layout, improve responsiveness, and add interactive elements. My focus was on making the user interface clean, functional, and easy to navigate.
Our Process
We approached this project with a user-centered design methodology, beginning with extensive research on both Istanbul and the needs of potential visitors to the city. We created wireframes and prototypes, conducted user testing, and iteratively improved the design and content based on feedback.
The development process involved collaborative coding using version control, regular code reviews, and continuous integration to ensure high-quality implementation. We prioritized accessibility, performance, and responsive design to create a website that serves all users effectively.
